Straight up(date)
So this is going to be an entry to simply detail one or two exciting things that have happened in the past couple of days. Nothing fancy or thought-provoking; just an overexcited child wanting to share her news and stories through this semi-public medium (and besides my facebook status isn't long enough to fit all this).
So on Monday, I got a chance to hang out with Eunsoo (I really can't call her christina in text for some reason) for her birthday. We went to a really (far) nice bakery called Panera bread, which everyone probably knows about but me. Until now! I love bread... Why am I excited? For future knitting projects (I wanna be able to make those weird knitted sleeve things) that have become convenient and simplified "for the busy knitter". <-- It was my present to her...which has become a present for myself! Yep...
Tuesday was Wicked! And let me tell you...it was good. Kerry Ellis played Elphaba and she was amazing (and very pretty in green might I add). It was hilarious, heart-wrenching, the effects and the technology impressive, and every single performer was perfect for their part. And the music (although I liked Phantom's classics a bit more) is still stuck in my head =) OH and I got Aaron Tveit's autograph! I will treasure that Playbill for the rest of my days. (google him..he's pretty hot..hahah).
Today was job-hunting day. I went to five places and applied to three. I feel quite accomplished, and more than a little excited to become a working girl during the holidays. So far, the maybes include Crepe'n'tearia, American Eagle and Applebees (Bay Terrace). I'm hoping for Applebees during the holiday since there will be hefty tips in store, and they like to start training in oct/nov for only two days a week so I can just start full time once the break hits. American Eagle is also looking for seasonal help, while Crepe is...well I guess I'll just have to wait for them. Crepe is good cause it's so close to school so I could work during school too, and the work doesn't seem too demanding. Anyways, if you couldn't tell by now, I'm excited!
I dont know...I was just scheduling (one of my favorite pastimes!) during stat and I just felt a nice sense of satisfaction at being able to order my otherwise rather complicated and busy life. Maybe I like being able to have things under control, and maybe that's not just me lol.
